57th Annual President's Ball
The Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA) have been in Toronto since 1952. Over that time, the organization has become a social networking and growth asset for the Canadian-Italian members it serves. On November 21st, the Le Parc Banquet and Convention Centre in Thornhill hosted CIBPA’s 57h annual President’s Ball. Hosted by CTV National Editor and Anchor Ken Shaw, this year’s event celebrated the great history of the group with an eye on the future contributions of generations of Italian-Canadian business leaders to come. The 2009 CIBPA Awards of Excellence were handed out at the President’s Ball.
Sam Primucci took home the President’s Award, while the Pulla family, Michael Tibolo, and Carlo Coppola were awarded the Business Excellence, Professional Excellence, and Next Generation Award respectively. For attendees, raffles, a silent auction, and a delicious meal complemented to the entire evening’s proceedings – making the 2009 President’s Ball a night to remember.
