Bowl For Kids Sake 2010
On February 6th, Woodbridge Bowl was host to a very special event. The 2010 Big Brothers Big Sisters of York Bowl for Kids Sake was a resounding success; many local businesses and dignitaries were represented among sponsors, donors, and participants. Bowl For Kids Sake is an annual event that takes place throughout municipalities nationwide and February 6th was Vaughan Community Day. At the event, participants enjoyed hitting the lanes for an afternoon of fun and charity with plenty of prizes available. It’s not very often that we get to join in on the fun, so Team SNAP was formed and helped raise $1165 to help Big Brothers Big Sisters in funding the incredible community service performed by their employees and volunteers. Other organizations joining in on the fun included The Keg, lululemon athletic, PowerStream, & Vaughan Fire & Rescue among others.
