2010 Mayor's Outlook Luncheon
Encouraging the growth of Vaughan is very important to the community and people want to see it thrive. On January 20th, the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) hosted the 2010 Mayor’s Outlook Luncheon at the Venetian Banquet and Hospitality Centre at 219 Romina Drive. The luncheon gave the VCC an opportunity to discuss important issues and challenges facing Vaughan. Mayor Linda Jackson was the key speaker at the event and spoke about how the City of Vaughan can continue to grow in light of the recent difficulties with the global economy. Many of Vaughan’s local businesses and dignitaries were in attendance. The VCC is dedicated to promoting success and development within Vaughan by providing community members with business opportunities, activities, and the support needed to keep the community at its best. Between their primary goals and the 2010 luncheon, Mayor Jackson and the VCC are building a better Vaughan.
