A couple of jokesters get in on the act

M.P.P. Invites Community for Skating & Hot Chocolate

Local MPP Greg Sorbara recently invited the community for a Complimentary Free Skate at Al Palladini Community Centre, located at 9201 Islington Ave. The former Minister of Finance in Ontario hosts many community-building events. Frequently, those events allow for friends, family, and neighbours to take some time in their busy schedules to enjoy an afternoon of fun together. With Jack Frost awaiting guests outdoors, volunteers were on hand to provide Hot Chocolate to the skaters and spectators on the afternoon of January 31st. Local dignitaries, such as Mayoral Candidate Mario Racco, were also in attendance to delight in the occasion with fellow citizens. All in all, the event provided much joy to those in attendance, while also providing a brief respite from the frigid conditions outside.
