"Chase" The Dream
Chasing a dream can be a daunting task. Whether it’s occupational, athletic, financial, whatever the goal may be, the work and dedication needed to fulfill beyond our wildest expectations is often clouded by what seems to be distant horizons and uncertainty. Chase Galea was born in 2007 with Cerebral Palsy. For Shawn and Rachel Galea, the dream of helping create a better world for their son Chase has led them to create Chase the Dream & the Chase Galea Fund. According to Rachel Galea,“ Our main objective is to raise funds to offer Chase a better quality of life, due to his disability with Cerebral Palsy and hearing loss.”
On March 27th, the 4th Annual Chase the Dream Gala helped raise important funds needed to help Rachel, Shawn, and their son Chase with the ongoing battle faced by the Galea family. The Live Auction, Celebrity guests which included Toronto Maple Leaf Legend Felix Potvin, and dinner and entertainment at La Primavera provided those in attendance with a great night for a great cause.
