Boston Pizza Foundation Shares the Love

Images of the devastation in Haiti have tugged on the collective heartstrings of the global populace. In an effort to show support, many local business entities begun to act swiftly to provide funds and show their support to the Haitian people. With hearts and Valentine’s Day spirit in mind, the good folks at Boston Pizza had a two-fold heart-shaped item campaign –with funds earmarked for the Boston Pizza Foundation that also supports Heart and Stroke, Juvenile Diabetes and Kids Help Phone. SNAP Vaughan East caught up with the good folks at the 50 Interchange Way location to enjoy a delicious heart-shaped pizza, made available for sale with $1 of the proceeds donated to charity. Also, Boston Pizza made paper hearts available for $1 in support of the cause. A paper heart purchase guests to send a message to their valentine and, also, to the charity receiving the help.
