Pasta Fagioli Night @ Immaculate Conception
There are few Italian dishes that have such a universal place in the cooking repertoire of nonnas (Italian for Grandmother) as Pasta Fagioli. Described as a, “traditional Italian soup,” Pasta Fagioli has a bit of variety but is mainly cooked using tomatoes and Fagioli Beans. On February 13th, Councilor Bernie Di Vona made a visit to the Immaculate Conception Church in Woodbridge to join parishioners and constituents for Pasta Fagioli Night. The occasion helped many in the community regain acquaintances while enjoying a delicious meal and entertainment. Councillor DiVona and Father Daniele of Immaculate Conception were extremely gracious hosts and made a point of giving plenty of credit to the tireless work of volunteers who helped make the night’s festivities possible.
