Vaughan Vikings Softball Team hits Home Run with Fundraiser
The Vaughan Vikings Girls Softball team had their second annual Car Wash & Bake Sale Fundraiser event at the St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School Parking Lot. Scrumptious bake goods were sold and happy smiles were readily found on the faces of guests and supporters. Cars were also washed and sparkled as they left the parking lots. The proceeds raised at this event were split between the Viking Girls Softball team and the Life for Luke Foundation.
The Vaughan Vikings 12U Squirt 1 Softball team is a youthful team filled with girls eager to not only achieve success in their games, but to “achieve their highest level of personal competence and foster lifelong fitness.” The team is determined to expand their abilities and focus on important traits such as sportsmanship, teamwork, fairness, athleticism, and of course their number one motto, enjoying the game no matter what the outcome is.
SNAP would like to congratulate the girls on their determination and their kind donation at this event.
