RBC Blue Water Community Action Grant
RBC has been at the forefront of engaging community involvement through their Building Communities initiative. Recently, SNAP was invited to check out the branch at Major Mackenzie and Vellore Woods, as branch manager Vera Salvatore, RBC staff and execs, and members of the community came out to celebrate the awarding of a prestigious grant. The Earth Rangers Foundation, in support of their Children’s Water Festival, received a grant for $2,500 as part of the RBC Blue Water Community Action Grant Program. The program was instituted by RBC, according to their website, “to support charitable initiatives that foster a culture of water stewardship.” The Earth Rangers educates children on water conservation and the impact of their actions. Joining the group at the branch was MP The Honourable Maurizio Bevilacqua, who also championed the work of RBC and the Earth Rangers.
