Holiday Basket Making @ Amica

A few residents of Amica at Villa Da Vinci, with help from staff, recently devoted December 7th to the service of others. With fundraising for the Amica Helping Hands program in mind, the residents spent the day creating beautiful Holiday Gift baskets to be distributed to a variety of churches and charities in community. Helping Hands is a national Amica fundraising campaign that was initiated more than a three years ago. Its goal is to raise funds at a corporate and community level with a view to assist seniors in need. The seniors who gave their time proved that the young at heart can make a big difference in the lives of others, and put smiles on a few deserving faces during the holiday season.
