Vaughan In Motion Fore The Cure

With their gala and a myriad of other fundraising events, the eager fighters from Vaughan in Motion continue to find ways to share their own personal battles with cancer, get together, and raise funds to “beat cancer”. Following their successful VIM Gala in March, they kicked off the month of June with their 4th Annual Vaughan in Motion Fore the Cure golf tournament. Held at the Cardinal Golf Club in Kettelby, over 140 people, including golf lovers and novice golfers, enjoyed a friendly golf match while raising money “fore” the cure. The president of VIM, Peter Badali and Vice President, Greg D’Orio were also on location having a fun time. Way to “take a swing at cancer!” While having fun, participants also donated their cash to help fund vital cancer research initiatives and the future Vaughan Hospital.
Vaughan in Motion is known to be a volunteered based non- profit organization. They are determined to find a cure, raise awareness and educate the community while supporting those dealing with the disease. After the round, a cheque for $51,000 was presented to Bob Baker, in attendance on behalf of the VHCF.
