RONA Woodbridge Gives Back to Sick Kids
Sick Kids Hospital has truly been a vital support facility for those dealing with a life threatening disease. As a result of their unwavering support, RONA decided to dedicate a day that could help them give back to the hospital. Last month, the team at RONA partnered up with Maple Leaf Sports to auction off some Toronto Maple Leaf Memorabilia to help raise funds for the Sick Kids Hospital. Toronto Maple Leafs Star Forward Clarke MacArthur was also on site with Carlton the Bear to sign autographs and be a part of the festivities. One day later, the staff at RONA could be seen “Clowning Around”, donning red noses and wearing costumes in an effort to fire up customers to help aid in the fundraising process. The team was able to raise $2,000 that went directly to help further develop the research performed and care given at Sick Kids.
