3rd Annual CIBC Run for the Cure

Last month the Richmond Green turned into a sea of pink with almost 4000 people attending the 3rd annual York Region CIBC Run for the Cure. York Region residents of all ages attended this hugely successful event to create a future without breast cancer. Funds raised through the run are invested by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation into the best breast cancer research, education and awareness initiatives in the country. Each year, thousands of Canadians are touched by breast cancer. It not only impacts the individuals living with the disease, but their families, friends and loved ones as well. It was these courageous faces that we saw out to participate in the run, working tirelessly to raise money for this important cause. While their hard work is paying off; this year, the CIBC Run for the Cure raised an amazing $30 million nationally during this one day event.
