Stayin' Alive Disco Dance
The Stayin’ Alive Disco Dance rocked the Embassy Grand in Brampton last month. The event reached a big milestone, as the 2012 incarnation represented the 15th successful Gala Dinner in support of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. Around 1200 people showed their support to the cause, enjoying superb food, live music, auctions, as well as some lively dancing throughout the night. The venue was decked out to the nines, almost as if everyone went to spend a night at the Embassy Grand and instead found themselves inside the famed Studio 54.
Each year, funds collected through ticket sales and auction items are directed towards the highest of priority needs at the hospital. It’s fitting that the event is named “Stayin’ Alive.” That’s just what fundraisers like this help people do each and every day. The generosity of guests, not to mention the annual dedication of the event organizers, provide hope for a better future for all who walk through the doors at Princess Margaret.
