Vaughan Cycling Forum
With the high rise in gas prices, it is becoming more common for individuals to ride their bikes to shorter destinations in and around their homes. At Vaughan City Hall on April 11th, Vaughan residents who ride their bike for transportation, leisure or just have an interest in cycling, were welcome to attend the inaugural meeting hosted by Vaughan Cycling Forum (VCF) with special guest Eleanor McMahon (founder of the Share the Road Cycling Coalition). Guests were welcome to share and provide their own input to further progress future cycling initiatives around the City. The VCF then provided the opportunity to discuss cycling related issues, programs and design and development of any new cycling facilities here in Vaughan. These new changes could help transform Vaughan into an extremely bike friendly city, further pushing this great community to world-class status.
