Humber Goes Hollywood

For one spectacular night, the red carpet was rolled out and flashes from paparazzi cameras lit the entrance of the Paramount Conference and Event Venue in Woodbridge. On May 10th, the Humber River Regional Hospital Foundation’s Annual Gala went Hollywood as the spotlight was placed on their donors. With around 800 guests in attendance, the night could not have been any more perfect. As guests entered the magnificent venue, dressed in both classic and very elegant attire, photos were being taken from every angle. The evening didn’t have a single dull moment. After the dinner and mingling took place, guests had the opportunity to dance the night away with live entertainment and a performance by Natalie Cole (nine time Grammy Award winner). Throughout the evening, many participated in the live auction, eager to get their hands on some of the fabulous prizes. One that many had their eyes on was the trip to Italy. Funds raised from the fabulous event will go towards the support of the Hospital’s $225 million Campaign – helping to build and furnish the New Humber River Regional Hospital that will open in 2015.
